Rachel Thompson is a multidisciplinary facilitator, educator, editor, and business strategist who helps people build sustainable, human-centered businesses and creative practices. She is the Founder and Strategic Director of Daring Studios, where she designs interactive workshops, programs, and retreats for solopreneurs, freelancers, and creatives who want to work on their business, not just in it.
A Certified Professional Facilitator with over fifteen years of experience, Rachel brings deep expertise in strategic facilitation, meeting and retreat design, business coaching, and creative problem solving. Her approach blends structure with curiosity, helping professionals create clarity, focus, and momentum through intentional strategy and actionable planning.
Rachel is also the Founder and Editorial Director of Teal Edits, where she helps authors and writers gain the clarity, structure, and feedback they need to polish their writing projects and bring their story to life. Her editing career began with her high school newspaper, and she’s been shaping words ever since.
Whether she’s facilitating a strategy sprint, hosting a retreat, or coaching a creative entrepreneur, Rachel’s work is rooted in connection, clarity, and meaningful progress. She helps people move in the direction they actually want to go with confidence, creativity, and a clear plan to get there.
Rachel is an avid reader, recent runner, and enjoys boardgames, sand volleyball, and traveling the world. She is based in Cary, North Carolina with her dog, Devin.
