About
Andrea is a San Diego–based illustrator, founder, and owner of Inkforma, a creative studio specializing in graphic recording and visual storytelling. Originally from Italy, he brings an international perspective to visual communication and a lifelong love of drawing. A 2015 graduate with distinction from the California College of the Arts, he has helped countless clients transform complex ideas into engaging, accessible visuals. In his professional career as a live illustrator, Andrea has graphically facilitated meetings ranging from Fortune 50 clients to nonprofit organizations and local community groups across the country.
Andrea has a passion for quick, spontaneous hand-drawn illustration. He believes creativity often emerges when you stop overthinking—real-time visual capture can spark some of the most brilliant metaphors, unexpected connections, and memorable images. Those rapid visual “gems” help ideas take shape, accelerate understanding, and make communication more human.
With this mindset, Andrea travels nationwide to capture key discussions at conferences, retreats, roundtables, and workshops as they unfold. Beyond live work, he produces studio illustration including explainer animation, comic narratives, infographics, and acrylic paintings.
When he’s not drawing, you’ll find Andrea surfing or riding motorcycles—still chasing motion, curiosity, and flow.
