was formed fifteen years ago as a peer-to-peer information sharing and professional development network for visual practice. From drawing on wall-sized sheets to sketching on e-tablets – live in the moment, or virtually – our members employ a spectrum of visual communication tools to help people understand complex information and ideas. Our website (www.ifvp.org) attracts people from around the world who are looking for information and resources to help them communicate visually.

Our 2010 conference will be held at the Hotel Sofitel in Redwood City, California from August 3rd to 6th. The “Ripple Effects of Visual Practice: Engaging Stakeholders, Embracing Collaboration, Enabling Creativity” promises to be our most exciting event ever.
