Frank
Wilson
Visual practitioners are rare birds. We think with our hands
and eyes in the highly intellectualized world of organizations.
Frank Wilson shed some light on the origins of our skills. He
described the hand's pivotal evolutionary role in the development
of our brains and our culture. His eclectic and scholarly presentation
went to the core of what we do and how we do it. We are using
phenomenal tools and capabilities that are millions of years
old, tools that most of our world ignores. It is no wonder that
so many people
regard our work with awe. In closing Frank offered to work in
future years with the group to address the physiological hazards
of our work.
