Susi found her “tribe” when she attended the Santa Fe IFVP conference in 2007. She has always been passionate about bringing meaningful, useful ideas to life, similar to so many in this community.
Susi stared For Balance, LLC 11 years ago using a number of visualization tools to help clients improve their customer experiences. Her toolbox included collaborative charting, mind mapping, collage, storyboarding and other group activities to unearth authentic product and service experiences. In 2006 Susi was trained by the Grove and graphic facilitation immediately proved to be an additional catalyst for breakthrough idea development, team communication and fulfillment.
Susi has spent over 20 years studying customer experience design in the world of technology, encouraging clients to build products and systems that are founded on consumer wants and needs, versus technical possibilities. She is dedicated to marrying art and business, which is manifest in her creative use of art to reveal audience and team insights.
Susi has pioneered a number of corporate divisions including Ketchum Interactive and Disney Online. She began her career as an architect and continues to use these skills to architect experiences that connect audiences, products and communication channels. Her goal is to inspire the authentic nature of products and communities with the hope of improving conversations and overall connections.
