Introduction

As a woman-owned, small business in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, we focus on the government niche—working with Federal, state, and local governments, as well as, private companies and not-for-profit associations. We have intentionally remained small, allowing us to be more flexible and responsive to client needs, while at the same time building a close and valuable community of clients, partners, and staff to deliver exceptional service. We truly understand that CGC doesn’t transform organizations; rather we act as catalysts, providing tools, thought leadership, methodologies, coaching and best practices to help organizations transform successfully on their own. Lasting change cannot be imposed, it cannot simply be planned…it must grow from within. We approach our work with clients by understanding the outcomes the individual, group, or organization hopes to achieve. It moves people away from “my solution vs. your solution” to “how are we going to achieve our common outcomes?” We co-create solutions with our clients—we bring the capabilities, tools and the process and mine the organization’s rich knowledge to develop business solutions that are implementable and sustainable.

Graphic Recording: Through a unique and powerful tool, such as graphic recording, we bring the group’s conversation to life. Our clients are moved and captured through the process of live visual graphics, as a part of strategic visioning and planning, teambuilding or leadership development. Bringing this skill to both large and small meetings can shift clients from the negative space to one of possibility and hope, by seeing their words, realities, and future thinking captured through graphics. Driven by an Appreciative Inquiry foundation, the future vision becomes something actionable and meaningful.
