I'm Ryan. It's obvious why you're here, so I won't go into the "why" and "how" of what I do. You're smarter than that.
If you want to dive right into my personal life, here goes!
I was born in the teeny tiny farmtown of Minooka, Illinois (SW suburb of Chicago). I studied at the famed Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California where I learned to put my solid work ethics to good use and hone my skills as a photographer/illustrator. Drawing and illustrating my ideas, thoughts and photoshoot strategies has always been a part of my life - both personally and professionally.
After ten years of running a successful advertising/editorial photo business in the Windy City (with clients like AT&T, Bosch, Discover Card, Statefarm Insurance, TIME Magazine, GQ, and Capgemini) I started INK FACTORY with two other graphic facilitators. I've drawn for clients like American Express, Volkswagen, Leo Burnett, Razorfish, Capgemini, LaFarge, GM, Johnson & Johnson, and the list goes on and on. Put it this way, if you can name a Fortune 500 Company, chances are, I've doodled for them.
I will tell you, however, that in addition to graphic facilitation and commercial photography, I have a packed toolbox that never closes. It includes semi-pro carpentry skills, foamcore mastery, wicked knowledge of advertising and design agencies, cool-hunting abilities, lists of internet oddities and I have been commissioned to create graphic recordings and visuals in ink, cut paper, foamcore, Legos and the hot medium of stop-motion drawing & animation.
Give me a ring!
Simply put: You talk. I Draw. It's Awesome.
