Leah is a knowledge worker and graphic designer with an emphasis on information graphics, business presentations, and meeting documentation. Her company, Design by Leah, is based in the Pittsburgh area.
Before forming her own company, Leah was the design manager for LaunchCyte, LLC, a biotech development company, where she created logos, brochures, business plans, and websites for the company and its portfolio startups. Prior to that, she managed a blues club for 11 years and marketed her beaded jewelry and hand-painted clothing to boutiques.
She still maintains a strong affinity to the service and hospitality industry as a part-time bartender with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. In her spare time she is senior editor for Social Innovation Conversations, part of the Conversations Network, an online platform for podcast distribution. When not traveling to meetings or hanging out in Pittsburgh’s Cultural District, Leah spends much of her time at her computers working in Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Dreamweaver.
Leah has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University and would like to someday complete the master’s degree in media arts that she has underway at Chatham University.
