Kristen works at The Grove Consultants International as the Client Relationship Coordinator. She works closely with consultants and designers at The Grove to assess prospective clients' needs and develop plans to address those needs. Her focus is building relationships with clients which often involves connecting them to a graphic facilitator, recorder or consultant. She loves educating people about the amazing work The Grove does.
Kristen has been inspired by her exposure to The Grove’s visual way of thinking and working. She enjoys learning about the field as well as honing her own graphic recording skills, and jumps at any opportunity to shadow a visual practitioner in her free time on weekends or evenings. Kristen has enjoyed top-notch training at The Grove through its public trainings, including the Principles of Graphic Facilitation and Strategic Visioning courses. Her most recent consulting experiences include leading a team building and personal visioning exercise for an elementary school staff retreat, facilitating a one day board retreat for a local charter school, and graphically recording a women's personal growth retreat.
Kristen graduated from the University of California, San Diego with bachelor’s degrees in sociology and communication. Since 2001 she has been an active volunteer with the California Association of Student Councils, a not-for-profit association that trains middle school and high school students in leadership, facilitation and presentation skills. Kristen’s work with CASC helped her discover a love of small and large group facilitation, teambuilding activities and conference programming. She has worked for the Ken Blanchard Companies in San Diego, California where she learned a great deal about Situational Leadership and was exposed to the field of training.
Kristen would love to speak with anyone about the work of The Grove Consultants. She welcomes any opportunity to develop her recording and facilitation skills and connect with others with similar interests.
