Introduction

Jennifer Shepherd harnesses the power of conversation by organizing and synthesizing complex ideas into a tapestry of words and images. She weaves patterns of meaning for you to transform into knowledge, insights and action.

Jennifer leads organizations on a journey of discovery and learning, enabling people to notice what’s possible and perform at their best. She helps people to improve the quality of relationships, focus intentions and actions on what matters, and make meaningful connections that foster learning and excellence. Approaching her work from a whole-systems perspective, Jennifer helps organizations to tap into the collective wisdom and strengths of their people and partners and to use powerful questions as reflective and imaginative tools to enable informed and inspired action. Her areas of expertise include: organizational development, process design and planning, facilitation, appreciative inquiry, community network development, knowledge translation and exchange, and conversational leadership practices and technologies.

Stepping into the facilitative role of Graphic Recorder, Jennifer helps people to literally see what they mean and put their ideas to work. She creates Living Tapestries of words and images and weaves conversation threads into artistic patterns that boost participants’ capacity to process information. The visually engaging process and product helps people to think clearly, retain knowledge, stimulate creativity, deepen their reflective practice, learn, and make better decisions.

Jennifer holds a Master of Arts in Human Systems Intervention from Concordia University. She is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and earned the Certified Professional Facilitator designation from the International Association of Facilitators.
