Christina
Merkley is a talented Graphic Facilitator, Coach
& Mapmaker with a fascinating background in organizational
development, change management, graphic facilitation, coaching,
and personal development.
After
completing her M.A. in Organizational Development & Transformation
(ODT) in 1996, she spent four years with The Grove Consultants
International (pioneering Group Graphics firm in San
Francisco) traveling throughout North America and Europe
on corporate, governmental and not-for-profit recording
projects. Fascinated with how groups and individuals can
more effectively deal with the challenges of change, she
has been trained as a Co-Active Coach by The Coaches
Training Institute and as a Master Hypnotist via The
Alchemy Institute. In 2000, Christina launched Make
Your Mark Graphic Facilitation, in San Francisco, CA, eventually
moving her practice to her home country of Canada in 2003.
With
600+ meetings under her belt, she has worked for a host
of corporate, not-for-profit and governmental agencies,
including: Hewlett Packard, e-Bay, Stanford University,
U.S. Department of Energy, Readers Digest Funds, Parks Canada
and The Gordon & Betty Moore Foundation.
Her
base is now in the beautiful coastal town of Victoria, British
Columbia, where she facilitates strategic planning & visioning
forums, conducts Graphic Coaching retreats, and maintains
a vibrant coaching and mentoring practice. An entrepreneur
herself, Christina is in the midst of creating a product
line for her SHIFT IT™ Graphic Coaching Process to
bring the power and magic of the graphic approach to other
helping professionals.
