Bruce understands stories.
In fact, over the last decade, he's taught over 100,000 young students the basics of a narrative and then created impromptu illustrations in front of the live audiences. That has trained him for his new career in graphic recording, where capturing the essence of a business's story is key to a successful visual record.
Bringing over two decades of experience as an illustrator to the role of corporate visualizing, Bruce infuses his work with color and dynamic illustrations. His recording clients have included health care systems in five cities, corporations in both the consumer and technology fields, and non-profit organizations. One of his hand-drawn diagrams is framed and hanging in the White House!
Graphic recording isn't a one-size-fits-all endeavor. Bruce works hard to understand each client's needs in order to provide the most useful visuals. That may require pushing the envelope at times. At one event, he suggested trying a graphic novel approach. At another, he drew quick sketches of presenters in action, then collected them into a single collage, in addition to the usual color panels created in sessions.
